The Marikina Sapatos Festival 2011 had a Cosplay Event integrated in their program. It was held last November  16 and it was the first cosplay I attended in the middle of the week, Wednesday (I hope more cosplay events will be held on midweeks hehe). I wasn’t expecting to meet a lot of cosplayers since schooldays are still up and most have work, but to my surprise, there are plenty of good cosplayers who went there to showcase their new sets. There were even more Filipino cosplayers than the audience haha!

I thought costumes were for children because I used to wear them when I was a kid. But that idea was “shot-dead” when the cosplay culture in the Philippines started to spread really fast. I just woke up and I’m already involved! XD
