The Naruto anime is one of the longest running series that I have ever watched, and I’m still watching it’s 2nd season right now, which is the Naruto Shippuden series (2011), wherein the characters are a bit older and taller than their previous season.
What I liked about this anime, other than having cool ninja elements, is the character development. Each character, even the minor ones, have deep back stories that will somehow justify their current roles on the anime series. The main trio especially, namely: Uzumaki Naruto, Uchiha Sasuke, and Haruno Sakura, has undergone a great revamp in terms of their skills and individual beliefs.
Even the villains of the previous season has evolved through the story’s twists. Like the much feared and idolized, Uchiha Itachi, who was previously among the enemy ranks but has now become one of the most important players in the good side of the story.
If you like breath taking ninja battles, touching story lines, and amazing twists, then this anime is definitely for you. It would suit the taste of any anime fanatic regardless of age. I admit thought that there are points in the anime that the story would feel a bit tiring, but stay with it, and everything will eventually get really interesting again.
